The primary destination for our vacation in April was the Grand Canyon. Being so early in the year, we went to the South Rim, as the North Rim is not slated to open until June this year. The park seemed to be busy during the day. But we generally hit the trails early and found most of the time we were alone along the rim, especially at sunrise.
We were able to hit pretty much every point, as we walked the Rim Trail from the Visitor Center to Grand Canyon Village, and we walked between many of the points on the way to Hermit’s Rest (though opting for the shuttle between some points that were close to the edge than we felt comfortable with).
