As we roll into the 2nd weekend in March, we have been seeing some of the birds that precede the Spring season. First, the eagles have been nesting for a few weeks, but we have started seeing them perched and fishing more in the past week. The cedar waxwings made their spring pilgrimage to the berries in the flowering crab tree in the yard.
Unfortunately, winter turned its ugly head again yesterday, pelting us with 8-10 inches of snow. So we will wait a few more weeks before we see if Spring can take hold.
