The forecast predicted partly cloudy skies this morning, but I woke up to completely clear. But I decided to go out anyway, only this time I grabbed the drone. The fog was sporadic but had really gathered on the north end of Lake Bemidji. I waited for a sunrise and popped the drone in the air. Thankfully, the fog was not particularly high, and was able to clear it to photograph the sunlight skipping across the top. I was able to capture the following.
It was the coldest I have ever flown the drone in, at the time of take-off it was 16 degrees with a feels like temperature of 12. I was impressed with the battery life, though there was a noticeable drop in flight time.
